Redefining premium coffee in Zimbabwe

Challenge

Kofi Kiru needed a refined identity that matched the depth and craftsmanship of their specialty coffee. Their previous visuals didn’t fully communicate the premium nature of the product, nor did they offer a clear way to differentiate blends and flavour profiles. The challenge was to create a modern, minimal identity that felt high-end, structured, and culturally grounded.

Solution

Our solution revolved around simplicity and elegance. Clean typography, contemporary layouts, and a rich, restrained colour palette formed the basis of the new system. Each blend was given a distinct colour cue, creating a thoughtful hierarchy that allows customers to easily navigate the range. The overall look is sophisticated but approachable — a reflection of both the brand’s quality and its intention to connect with a discerning, design-aware audience.

Outcome

The refreshed identity elevated Kofi Kiru’s market positioning and helped strengthen its presence among specialty consumers. The brand now feels cohesive, confident, and premium, with a visual system built to grow alongside its ambitions.
